How The Climb-N-Go® Motorized Scaffolding System Works
The Climb-N-Go® motorized scaffolding system includes two main components: the wheels & electric motor system, and a joystick controller. The wheels & electric motor system attach to the bottom of the scaffolding, while the joystick attaches to the guardrail on the top of the scaffolding, and these two components are connected together through a cable that runs vertically up the scaffolding. Employees on top of the scaffolding can then use the joystick to move the scaffolding forward, backward, and side to side with 360° range of motion, allowing them to move around the jobsite without having to climb down off the scaffolding. The Climb-N-Go® motor can be powered by an 18 to 21 volt battery from any one of the eight largest brands in the industry: Dewalt®, Makita®, Milwaukee®, Stanley®(18V), Porter Cable®, Black & Decker®, Bosch®, or Rigid® (Ridgid® adapter not included). Climb-N-Go allows scaffolding to move on a job site without the need for a freight elevator, unlike a scissor lift! Climb-N-Go® complies with CSA S269.16 and OSHA Standards 1926.452(W).
