Saws for Cutting Concrete in the Green Zone
Husqvarna Soff-Cut early entry concrete saws offer a unique patented system that allows workers to cut concrete within one to two hours of its finishing point. This is within the green zone, or before the concrete forms random cracks on its own to seek relief for its internal stress.
How it Works
The Soff-Cut blades slice with an up-cutting rotation, while pressure plates apply pressure to the cutting surface. Unlike other saws, the plates always maintain the right amount of pressure on the concrete with the saws’ blade block pistons. This system allows for shallow, deliberate cuts while concrete is in the green zone, and minimizes the chance of cracks.
