The trim carpentry nails family includes finish nails and casing nails. These nails are used to build cabinets, bookshelves, furniture, and to attach molding & trim. Their small heads can be counter sunk so they become less visible.
1. Finishing Nails
- Cup head.
- Diamond point.
- Smooth shank.
These are used wherever finely finished woodwork is desired. For use with molding, cabinets, furniture, etc. The cup head allows the nail to be countersunk with a nailset.
2. Casing Nails
- Deep countersunk head.
- Diamond point.
- Smooth shank.
These nails are used in the same applications as finishing nails. The heavier gauge makes them more suitable for casing, door jambs, and moulding.
